Small Victories

So, as I said before, I have hit a plateau. But I am keeping on. Today, I went to the Wellness Center for the first time in a few weeks! AGHHHH!!!! I have got to do better. But I went. At 7:15, on the first morning of Christmas Break. I give myself LOTS of credit for that. Anyway, while I was there, I weighed on "the scale" (you know, the one that I judge all other scales by). It seems I have lost about 3 pounds, which leaves me at #37 pounds right now. Now, this last 5# has come and gone about 10 times in the last 2 months, but that is where I am now. But, I was happy, because I haven't gained, and we take small victories seriously around here!

Then, I went to buy a new bra. I realized last week that the girls were droopy. So, today I go into Fitting Concepts, and had myself measured. The band size of my bra went down 6 inches. Yes, you read that - 6 inches. Another small victory. I only bought 1 today, though, because I will be going on Monday to see the surgeon, and I will hopefully get a date then! I don't want to spend a lot of money on a bra that will only fit for a little bit.

I am getting excited, and I have taken a leap of faith this week. Our principals are getting us Lawndale jackets as a happy, and we had to tell what size we wanted to order. So, I ordered an XL. There is no way it will fit now, but I am hoping it will fit next year, and then maybe be a "too big" comfy jacket after that!
